Continues the provisions of the October 13, 2016 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions of the May 20, 2008 Rule governing the reimbursement methodology for nursing facilities to amend the provisions governing evacuation and temporary sheltering costs in order to ensure that an evacuating nursing facility continues to receive vendor payments while providing essential care and services to residents at a host site when they are displaced.
