The 1996 amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) added a new dimension to federal/state drinking water legislation called Capacity Development. Water system capacity is the ability to plan for, achieve, and maintain compliance with applicable drinking water standards. To achieve this goal, the Capacity Development Program is made up of three components: technical, managerial, and financial.

We are pleased to present the 2008 Louisiana PRAMS Surveillance Report, which is a compilation of Louisiana PRAMS results for selected indicators.

The role of the Office of Public Health's Adolescent School Health Program is to provide technical assistance to School Based Health Centers (SBHCs); establish and monitor compliance with standards, policies, and guidelines for school health center operation; provide financial assistance; and encourage collaboration with other agencies and other potential funding sources.

ARRA Section 1511 Certification- The attached ARRA Project List shows the borrowers, allocations, of ARRA funds, interest rates and project descriptions for those projects that have already been funded as well as those that have completed the loan process and are awaiting funding. The list also shows the amounts of ARRA monies as well as non- ARRA monies available to each project.
