HHS Voucher Program • We’re now in our eighth year of a flu shot voucher program we’ve developed by working closely with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. • Walgreens will be distributing the vouchers to qualified uninsured and underinsured individuals through a variety of outreach efforts, local events and community and faith-based organizations nationwide. HHS assists with some of the voucher distribution effort. • Each voucher is good for one flu shot at any Walgreens pharmacy in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Duane Reade pharmacies in New York and Walgreens Healthcare Clinic locations, and is subject to the terms and conditions on the voucher. • Through the program, we’ve distributed more than $60 million worth of flu shot vouchers to uninsured or underinsured individuals across the U.S., and this season we plan to build on that success and protect even more people from the flu.
