This program is designed to address TANF Goal # 2, "to end the dependence of needy parents on government benefits by promoting job preparation, work, and marriage."
The Office for Addictive Disorders programs is designed to meet the needs of women with dependent children through residential treatment. Services to be provided include: comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment planning for women and children; intensive case management; individual, group and family therapy; parenting classes; life skills training; exposure to AA/NA groups; child care; job readiness training; relapse prevention; family reunification; and advocacy. By providing these services, clients will be assisted in maintaining self-sufficiency, employment, and family stability.

Grace House is located at 1401 Delachaise Street in New Orleans. This yellow three story old Victorian style home is two blocks off St. Charles Avenue and one block off Louisiana Avenue. Our neighbor is the Touro Hospital parking garage located across form their emergency room. St. Charles Avenue is best accessed from the I-10 headed towards the Greater New Orleans Bridge. When you come down the St Charles St Ramp, you will turn right on St Charles to go towards Louisiana Avenue. Delachaise is one block past Louisiana.
